Vikings Bolster Offense with Proven Performer
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. – The Minnesota Vikings have signed running back Aaron Jones, the team announced on Thursday.
Jones, who was released by the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday, joins the Vikings after a seven-year career in Green Bay. In 97 games with the Packers, Jones rushed for 5,940 yards and 2076 receiving yards, while scoring 63 total touchdowns.
The 28-year-old Jones is expected to play a key role in the Vikings offense, which ranked 12th in the NFL in rushing yards per game in 2022.
