No Trump on the Stage
The Republican presidential primary debates are underway without former President Donald Trump. Trump has not yet announced whether he will seek the Republican nomination, but his absence from the early debates has opened the door for other candidates to make their mark.
A Crowded Field
The Republican field is crowded, with numerous candidates vying for the nomination. Some of the most prominent candidates include Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The debates will provide these candidates with a platform to differentiate themselves from each other and appeal to Republican voters.
