Tottenham Women appoint Robert Vilahamn as new head coach

Tottenham Women have appointed Robert Vilahamn as their new head coach.

The former teacher, who coaches at the same school as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has signed a two-year deal with the club.

Vilahamn said: "I am very excited to join Tottenham Hotspur. I have been very impressed with the club's ambition and the quality of the squad.

I am looking forward to working with the players and staff to help the team achieve its goals.

Vilahamn has praised Ange Postecoglou's leadership at Celtic and is looking forward to working with him.

He said: "Ange is a great coach and I have learned a lot from him.

I am looking forward to working with him and learning more about his philosophy.

Vilahamn has signed a contract until 2027.

He said: "I am very excited about the future of Tottenham Hotspur Women.

I believe that we have a great squad and I am confident that we can achieve success together.
